Every student succeeding is our shared responsibility at Woodford P-10 State School. Our school and wider community is committed to working collaboratively and professionally so that all students can achieve their personal best, academically, socially, emotionally and physically whilst attending Woodford P-10 State School, through our shared vision and belief of 'Today's Effort, Tomorrow's Success'.
Our commitment to Students, Parents and Community is that we will endeavour to embed the qualities of being a Life Long Learner, a Global Citizen and a Successful Person so students may lead meaningful and productive lives.
Our curriculum is aligned with the Australian Curriculum with a solid foundation in Literacy and Numeracy being a priority. Overlying our distinctive learning groups, consisting of Prep-2 (Early Phase of Learning), Years 3-6 (Middle Phase of Learning), Year 7-10 (Junior/Secondary/Prep for Senior) and Students with Diverse Needs (P-10) is our whole school approach to teaching, learning, assessing and reporting.
Integrating our Pedagogical Plan which is aligned to ASoT's 10 Design Questions and our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) Plan of Being Respectful, Responsible, Resilient and Seeing Results, defines the corner stones that enable Woodford P-10 State School community to create a positive learning environment for all students. This is achieved through our focus and development of proactive whole school systems to ensure:-
Quality teaching and learning;
Quality outcomes;
Quality relationships;
Quality behaviour.
