At Woodford, our school uniform helps students feel a strong sense of belonging, pride and connection to our school community. Wearing the correct uniform also supports student safety, comfort and readiness to participate fully in learning and school activities.
Prep to Year 6 students are expected to wear the approved royal blue school polo with navy shorts or skort, or the approved blue-and-white checked school dress. Uniform items should be clean, in good condition and clearly labelled with the student's name. Jewellery should be minimal, safe and appropriate for school.
Students must wear safe, practical footwear. Approved options include enclosed black leather or leather-look school shoes, plain black leather-look sneakers and suitable black sandals with a secure back strap. Fashion sneakers, brightly coloured running shoes, sports-specific footwear, shoes with lights or wheels, heels, thongs and slides are not appropriate for everyday school wear.
The approved wide-brimmed school bucket hat is required for outdoor activities. Our reversible hats allow students to proudly display their Stanley, Archer or Wood House colour while providing appropriate sun protection. Caps, visors, straw hats and beanies do not meet the school's uniform and sun-safety expectations. Students without an approved hat will be directed to remain in a shaded area during outdoor play.
We appreciate the support of families in helping students arrive each day dressed safely and ready to learn. By wearing our uniform with pride, students help create a positive, respectful and connected school culture.
Look smart. Feel proud. Belong.
